Elk Ridge Lodge is designed to be a part of the ridge and surrounding site it sits on. This home’s design is based on a number of principals- quality, durability, site views, and a “lodgey” aesthetic. Throughout the design process, we recognized the height of this home and it’s prominence on the ridge. Techniques such as stepping roof lines and strategic landscaping were used to tuck it back into its surroundings.
The inside of this home is rather open, with an interior bridge spanning the Great Room, offering a unique perspective when crossing from one space to the other. Large decks allow interior spaces to open up to the exterior.
