Set at the edge of a mirror-like pond, with reflections of the Palisade being cast, the unusual nature in the design of the Observatory draws you to this building with curiosity. The layout lends itself to function as well as aesthetics; each leg of the building is a new adventure into learning and the wonders of astrology. Once inside the main Observatory you witness the large telescope perched on its pedestal under the patina copper dome for guests to star gaze. Outside the Observatory individual telescopes can be set up for a more intimate look into the beautiful Western Colorado skies.
