Buildings should speak to the user in many ways – the interesting way that the openings to the exterior create views and change the interior spaces, volumes of spaces – low, high interior spaces – differing materials that melt together to create cohesiveness. The goal on this project is to create cohesiveness through parts that create a building complex. The building complex has taken on a collection of small and medium buildings connected by low walls, arcades, gardens, water elements and towers.

The aesthetics of the home will be ‘Rustic Tuscan’. Brick and stone will be major factors with this design. As with many projects, views are important – primary view is from the Great Room that focuses on Independence Rock.

From the Great Room, spaces radiate. The Master Suite will be off of the Great Room and will be in close proximity to the pool and outside terraces. The Kitchen, Dining and Hearth Rooms will be on the opposite side and will be the public spaces for the home. Spacious, unique and open are the goals with this home.
