Centered on views of Pioneer Peak, this home is designed to be a relaxed, comfortable, rustic mountain home. A cozy, traditional Great Room defines the public space on the main floor with an open Kitchen and Dining Room.
Public areas are separated from the private, allowing for a mix of uses to occur. This is a common Centre Sky approach, but it became critical in this design. The client requested that each floor be capable of hosting a family of visitors, however, the client did not want the home to feel broken up or to become too large.
Exterior materials are made up of a heavy stone base, grounding the building, and finished with wood planking, cedar shakes, and corrugated metal roof accents.
