Rockin’ E’ Ranch – Spanish Peaks Mountain Club, Big Sky, Montana

Mountain Rustic and Barn aesthetic merge in this unique Spanish Peaks residence.  Rockin’ E Ranch is “Mountain Contemporary” with playful interior touches. The exterior mixes rustic siding with contemporary accents seamlessly. Copper utilitarian accents stand out against the grey reclaimed siding. Steel and wood complement each other through out the design, creating distinctive details.

The mountain experience of the home begins with the driveway approach as it lends expansive views of the adjacent mountains.  This project’s contemporary flare is shown through steel expressions in exposed structural members, steel siding and a clean-line finish in the interior.  The interior rustic wood accent wall adds warmth and texture, offsetting the cool steel beams.

Spanish Peaks Mountain Club is a 5,700-acre, membership only, ski and golf community located in the beautiful Big Sky, Montana.  The family of this mountain home are locals in Big Sky, Montana where they take advantage of the diverse recreational activities this area has to offer.  From varied, challenging ski terrain, access to Yellowstone National Park, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, biking, golfing, and white water experiences the Big Sky area provides a four season recreational experience that is unmatched in the United States.
