This particular project will have two phases which the first phase will be the Guest Residence and Garage and the second phase will be for the Main Residence which will attach to the first phase.

National Park Architecture is the core theme to the project. Simplistic building volumes, roof structures and using stone as the most prominent of the materials were required. The stone will be heavily battered at the base and will eventually terminate at a random rubble cap. A vertical reverse board and batten will dominate the entry area and will create a focal point to welcome family or guests. This Entry will eventually be the link for Phase 1 and 2. The interior of the entry will have ceilings at 16 feet in height with windows, clerestory and exposed beam work. Lighting will be integrated for up and down light as well as streaming natural light from the glazed openings. The Entry area connects to a Ski Room that will accommodate ski lockers and out door gear storage and will be the access for ski-in/ski out to the ski runs.

The interior layouts were based on functionality and creating the homey spaces with area allotted. The Guest Residence is an open concept with Living, Dining and Kitchen as one space. High spaces at the peak were used for a kid’s room with an ornamented ladder for access. The interiors will have wood beams, warm paint colors, stained concrete floors, stone for the fire stack and wood and gypsum ceilings.
