Muggins Gulch 5, located in Breckenridge, Colorado, is one of Centre Sky Architecture’s upcoming project currently finishing up in the Construction Document phase of design. This mountain home flows effortlessly into the topography and take advantage of the natural site. Glazing is used to connect the exterior to the interior. Windows that extend around the corners of the exterior creates uninterrupted views of the landscape, while adding a modern aesthetic to this Breckenridge custom home. Other materials, such as steel and metal, create a ‘Mountain Contemporary’ design. Steel is incorporated into the handrails and walkways, as well as roofing and siding. The structure also implements steel beams and columns through out the exterior and interior design of Muggins 5. Natural stone and wood columns helps balance the modern touches, and allows this Colorado architecture to blend into its mountain surroundings.
Below are a few renderings that shows the many aspects of design through out Muggins Gulch 5. We can’t wait for this project to become a reality and for construction to commence!
