“Freddie Mo” is our custom Montana residence design, located in Moonlight Basin Resort up here Big Sky Montana. Centre Sky’s project managers Sam and Ben are working together to create a truly unique Mountain Modern design. As part of Centre Sky’s design process, interior renderings are used to help clients envision their custom designed homes. These rendering help to visually communicate the design moves we make through out the project. Creating an interior rendering for “Freddie Mo” helped to show the ceiling heights and material palette, as well as allow the client to put themselves into the designed space. The revision process is much more efficient when the designer can also view the renderings and see what works and what does not.
From the renderings shown below, the Mountain Modern aesthetic is clearly illustrated. The mono-slope and play on traditional and contemporary materials add a modern touch while still fitting in with its natural surroundings and neighboring homes. The beams in the Great Room and Dining Room are an refreshing mix of both steel and rustic wood the die into the stone finish. The two fireplace areas of the main common areas are a unique blend of modern and traditional. Mountain Modern is achieved in the design of the fireplaces with clean, horizontal lines of board formed concrete, steel and stone. The windows provide uninterrupted views to the outdoors with large floor to ceiling windows expanding the perimeter of the spaces.
