Flagstaff House Update| Arizona Custom Home

Our Flagstaff home is currently under construction and coming along nicely in Flagstaff, Arizona.  The metal siding is just beginning to go up. We are using reclaimed metal from Indonesia.  The idea for this siding began when Jamie, architect, and Ben, project manager, were flipping through photos of materials from a junk yard in Indonesia.  They came across these large steel panels with weathered paint on them. They insisted on cutting these down to size and using them for a portion of the cladding on the house.  As you can see from the pictures below the recycled metal gives a certain depth and texture to the house.

The intricate custom design details in the home came together with a strong collaboration with the home owner, Jason Scott, producer of the Jason Scott Collection.  The reclaimed metal siding is just one more aspect of the house that ties back to Jason’s connections to Indonesia where he frequently travels to visit his workshop where talented craftsmen design and built complex furniture pieces. This home features an amazing array of small details in which represents a life long journey, passion and craftsmanship of Jason. We are happy to have been a part of this process from the very beginning and are ecstatic at continued construction progress as this project becomes reality.

Stay tuned for continued progress and unique detail fabrications and thank you for your interest in our firm’s work.
