LIVINGSTON, MONTANA

BIG 5 RANCH

Down a windy driveway in Livingston, Montana you are greeted by a family ranch growing out of the secluded woods and sprawling mountains. This ranch home is a time preserved project that will be enjoyed by generations to come. The architectural style of this project is clean line rustic, amplifying a modern-day Montana Ranch home.

The stunning views are what drew our client to the land. Centre Sky Architecture was tasked with creating a quintessential Montana home with a cozy style to blend their mountain dreams with their southern roots. We teamed up with Sievert Construction and Tatom Interiors. Big 5 Ranch was designed to look like an established cabin that was expanded. There are intimate spaces within each room, so it does not feel too grand, keeping a cozy feeling throughout.

Aesthetic and feel are important to ownership. Lighting was designed to create a warming ambiance as you approach the house from the road. No sheet rock was used throughout the home, implementing reclaimed timber from Montana Reclaimed Lumber, plaster, or shiplap instead.
