GRIZZLY GULCH

The Grizzly Gulch residence is in the town of Alta, neighboring Alta Ski Resort in Utah. The home and site are both unique, as it sits on the edge of a steep and large Gulf. This allowed the Centre Sky Architecture design team to take advantage of the breathtaking views of the neighboring mountain peaks. Materials such as stone, wood, steel, and glass were used to create a home that withstands the seasonal changes, and potential avalanches, while still having uninterrupted views of the mountain and resort. Creating an encompassing perfect winter getaway for skiers!
