Rainbow Lodge Remodel – Big Sky Montana Architect – Centre Sky Architecture

The Rainbow Lodge is the original lodge at the the Yellowstone Mountain Club a private Ski and Golf Community. The goal for this remodel is to expand to accommodate more traffic and program. There is more homes that will be utilizing this restaurant and so the seating is basically doubling and the BOH operations areas are expanding to be able to function efficiently at this increase. The lower level will now have an exercise and locker room type facility with a media and recreation room for the kids.

The rendering above is the pool patio view showing the amount of glazing that will open up the direct view to Lone Peak.

What you see here are the schematic design renderings to study exterior forms, materials and window layouts. We have three options we studied one with a porte cochere, two without. We are going to move forward with the top option having a shed bump-out on the right gable end.
