Madison’s View is a custom residential project located in the ski-in/ski-out neighborhood of Moonlight Basin in Big Sky, Montana. This neighborhood has direct ski access to Big Sky Ski Resort, along with mountain biking and hiking trails that weave throughout the neighborhood. Madison’s View has one of the most expansive views in Big Sky. It is perched on a hillside overlooking the Spanish Peaks with no view obstructions.
Blue Ribbon Builders, the general contractor, is in the rough framing stage and have been cruising right along. We are beginning to see the start of where the window openings are going to be, which showcase the stunning view corridors. We can now see how the structure was designed to fit on this steep site. We split the house into pods and bridges, allowing the house to fit accordingly on the site. As we progress in construction you will begin to see the garage and ski room pod, which is going to be above the main structure show in the pictures below.
This Modern Mountain aesthetic project uses clean lines, simple forms, rustic materials and a mixture of exposed steel structure and timbers.
