The Peers Homestead is a residential home Centre Sky Architecture designed in Spanish Peaks Mountain Club, Big Sky, Montana. Construction commenced this fall with Big Sky Build as the general contractor. We take pride in our on-going relationship with Big Sky Build and are happy to have them as the builders.
The steel trusses just arrived on-site and have been installed already! Jamie, principal architect, took these photos at his site visit this week. These trusses, fabricated by TW Welding & Fabrication, create a sense of suspense with the larger scale at the top of the trusses and the more delicate elements at the bottom. These are placed through out the Great Room and Dining Room.
The Peers Homestead has been an exciting custom project to work on. We have taken our clients vision and ran with it, creating a true hybrid of ‘Mountain Contemporary’. Natural stone, rustic timbers and steel panels characterize the material choice of this Mountain Contemporary home. Low sloping roof lines mixed in with traditional gables gives a modern touch to the design.
